CSA – Construction & Safety Assurance Mobile Application
To ensure the safety and standards are adhered to during infrastructure works, Network Rail undertakes thousands of inspections each year across the network.
OnTrac’s Construction & Safety Assurance apps provide a mobile app solution to allow inspectors to complete their inspection forms via a tablet or mobile device.
CSA inspection apps have revolutionised how data is captured on site – improving inspection quality, data capture and audit capability.
Crossrail – Access Management
OnTrac worked in partnership with Crossrail in delivering an end-to-end electronic solution allowing users to create Safe Work Packs with digital sign-off.
The Access Management solution forms part of a suite of platforms that OnTrac provide to Crossrail. This technology allows Crossrail to achieve truly world-class operational performance, including excellence in planning and delivering safe work.
BIM Dashboard
Network Rail embarked on a programme to implement Business Information Modelling (BIM), a set of standards and processes informing workers how they should manage information within construction projects at every stage.
OnTrac created a BIM dashboard, essentially a one-stop shop for all the processes, forms, standards and spreadsheets a worker could need.
DWWP – Delivering Work Within Possessions
Delivering Work Within Possessions (DWWP) is integral to supporting Network Rail deliver a better and safer railway.
Launched in 2009 and developed from industry best practices, DWWP is based on an operational readiness framework for reducing and mitigating the risk of possession overruns.
Continually developed and improved based on feedback from users, DWWP is firmly established as a business-critical system within Network Rail.
RAIVS Possession Viewer
OnTrac developed a digital mapping tool called Resource Access
Intelligence Visualisation System (RAIVS). RAIVS allows for regions to submit their plans for resource usage over several years, which enables the team to identify where resources are being over-allocated.
The system takes in data from various Network Rail databases such as P6, PPS, NROL & DWWP, and shows this possession data visually for easier planning.
OnTrac’s digital solution has made it possible for Network Rail projects to be planned quickly and efficiently.
